With regard to homosexual behaviors, let us not fall into the trap of the manipulators.
There is no “homosexual problem” in the Church.
There is a problem of sins and infidelity. Let us not perpetuate the vocabulary of LGBT ideology.
Homosexuality does not define the identity of persons.
It describes certain deviant, sinful, and perverse acts. For these acts, as for other sins,
the remedies are known.
We must return to Christ, and allow him to convert us.”

In Matthew 7:21At the end of the great Sermon on the Mount, Jesus says what have to be the most frightening words to religious people of anything He ever said.
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord’, will enter the kingdom of heaven.” What a statement. “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord’, will enter the kingdom.

Salut Ami/Amie,

As I read Luke 24 this morning I realized that it is so easy for us to get caught up in good things like learning, teaching, doctrine, reading about sound doctrine, understanding sound doctrine.
Sometimes we get caught up in good things like worship, singing, praising God, listening to Christian music. We get caught up in the good things of fellowship, being together, sharing our lives together, enriching one another, ministering our gifts to each other, comforting, encouraging one another. We get caught up in prayer.
We get involved in Christian service of all kinds for the sake of the advance of the church. We pursue holiness in our own lives.

And all these things are commanded of us in Scripture, but none of them is the goal. All of them are simply means to the goal; and the goal is to proclaim the Gospel and call people to REPENTANCE. We are living in a kind of life that will make the message of the gospel believable, that’s why we have all of these components.
Scriptures tell us how to fellowship.
Scriptures teach us doctrine.
The Scriptures tell us how to worship, how to obey, how to be holy, how to serve, how to pray.
That’s never the goal. That’s never the end. Your spiritual growth is not the end. It is not the goal; it’s not the objective.
So if you do all of those things, but never proclaim the gospel, you have forfeited the purpose for which all the others exist.
The true church isn’t merely a mission department, the true church is a mission. You’re not chosen or elected to be members of a mission committee, you’re a missionary; it’s just a question of where, and how effective or how ineffective.
There is no escaping this. There is no gift of evangelism. There is no gift of missionary. We are all responsible for this. The church is composed of missionaries, the church is a mission in the world.
The world is an alien culture, and we are here in a foreign land. We are citizens of heaven, we are left here; but our citizenship is there.
We are left here, because there’s one thing we can do here we’ll never do in heaven and that is evangelize the lost. So we’re all missionaries.
To sum up, Luke 20: 46-47
46 An he said to them, “Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer and on the third day rise from the dead, 47and that REPENTANCE for the forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.
48 You are witnesses of these things.
Ps Are we merely petting sheep, or looking for the lost sheep?
Open letter to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez .
Hi Alexandria,
The most loving thing I can ever do is tell you in 2019 is that if you are not a believer in, and follower of the Lord Jesus, that you are a lost sinner on the road to hell.
However, the good news is that Jesus died on the cross and paid for your sins, making it possible for you to be reconciled to God, and be assured of a home in heaven one day. I am calling on you to repent and believe!
So, what am I supposed to believe to become a Christian! BELIEVE WHAT?
*Believe,Admit, and Agree you are a sinner.
*Believe, Admit, and agree you are alienated from God, and must truly repent and turn from your sin.
*Believe, Admit and Agree that you are “condemned already” and need a pardon.
*Believe, Admit and Agree that you need to repent (turn your back from sin) and produce fruits of obedience.
*Believe, Admit and Agree that Jesus took your punishment on the cross as your substitute, and is waiting to pardon you.
*Believe, Admit, and Agree that God’s justice was satisfied by the fact that God raised Jesus…from the dead. And when God raised Him from the dead He was saying, “I am satisfied.”
*Believe, Admit and Agree, that the evidence that you are truly a believer is that you produce “fruits of obedience.”
That’s what you BELIEVE! That’s the gospel. And when you believe that by faith, and REPENT, simply trusting God, He, in His mercy takes the righteousness of Jesus Christ and credits it to you because your sins were credited to Christ when He died on the cross. In 2 Corinthians 5:21 we read
“GOD made JESUS who did not know sin to be sin for US, so that WE might become the righteousness of GOD in Him. “
In Acts 2:37-38, after hearing the gospel the people became aware of their guilt as sinners and said, “What shall we do?” And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
In Luke 18:14, the repentant sinner said, “God be merciful to me a sinner.”
So, if you cry out to God in faith trusting, God will hear you and your life will be transformed in a moment. If your faith is weak ask Him to help you to believe. If you need more information read the Gospel of John, and ask God to teach you the truth of Christ.

DID YOU MERELY REPEAT A PRAYER AND THEN CONTINUE AS USUAL, OR DID YOU TRULY REPENT AND BE TRULY CHANGED , CONVERTED AND TRANSFORMED?
Are you one who claims that you “SAID THE PRAYER” but you live like the unsaved. You know the term ‘born again,’ but what does this really mean?
It means that Satan has moved out of your life, and the Lord Jesus Christ has moved in and changed you and TRANSFORMED your life. God has taken out the rebellious heart that loves sin and hates God, and replaced it with the heart of Jesus which loves God and hates sin.
The transformed Christian has been buried with Jesus in his death and raised up with him in his resurrection so that he too can walk in newness of life. For those who are born again, everything changes.
If God has wrought this change in your life, then this new life in Jesus just flows. You want to love and honour God. You want to obey him, to do what he commands. It is no burden. You delight in doing so. This is what theologians call regeneration.
The glory, however, for the transformed Christian is that the Lord Jesus died in our place. He took the judgment you deserve for your own sin. His blood washes away the guilt and condemnation of sin. It appeases the just wrath of God, because Jesus took the wrath and condemnation for sin upon himself when he died on Calvary’s cross.
He can take your sin from you as far as the east is from the west. And because Jesus was raised from the dead Paul the apostle tells us that we can be justified, declared not guilty, given the very righteousness of Christ. The only way you can ever be pure before God is to be clothed in the righteousness of Christ. This is what theologians call justification.
Being transformed is not about perfection, No! It’s about the direction of your life. You no longer enjoy sin and run towards it, rather you hate sin an run from it. Unfortunately sin still chases the truly transformed and trips them up from time to time, and Require confession and repentance to restore fellowship.
My prayer is that if you are merely Part of the “ I SAID A PRAYER CROWD” and have not had your life truly transformed by the blood of Jesus Christ, that you will repent and be truly born again from above!
As we enter into this season of celebration of a savior we face an opportunity and a responsibility that I think is unique to the season, and that is to be ready to speak the gospel to the Jews and Gentiles that are around us, who don’t know the Lord Jesus Christ and have never repented. We need to talk about that, being saved. What are we talking about? What is it we want people saved from? That is the compelling question. The answer to that question, as far as Scripture is concerned, is a simple answer. We want to see people saved from eternal punishment, punishment that never ends. Conscious existence, conscious life in a body resurrected and suited for everlasting punishment.
The Bible speaks of that as occurring in a place that we know as hell. In the Old Testament, the word Sheol makes reference to that in a general way. In the New Testament, the word Hades is sometimes with reference to that. But always the word hell coming from the Greek word Gehenna speaks of what the book of Revelation calls this Lake of Fire where people are punished and tormented forever.
There are those who claim to be preachers who don’t ever talk about hell, wouldn’t talk about hell, avoid it at all costs, when the truth of the matter is, it ought to be the first thing that we talk about when we talk about the gospel. This is about salvation from hell.
Yes, Jesus was a hell-fire preacher. When we talk about salvation, the word has to be used because we’re talking about rescue.
Salvation is a word that means deliverance or rescue and the question is…from what? Contemporary kind of corrupted Christianity and Judaism would offer many psychological and even material substitutes for hell.
We would say, “Well, Jesus wants to save you from loneliness or He wants to save you from purposelessness, or He wants to save you from anxiety, or He wants to save you from poverty, or He wants to save you from failure, or He wants to save you from sickness, or He wants to save you from disappointment.
No, no, He desires to save you from hell, from the fiery hell, the lake of fire that is eternal. The true message of the celebration of a savior in Scripture is that salvation is a rescue, a rescue from a real place called hell that results in a transformed life.
“ The angel of the Lord told Mary, You shall call his name Jesus because he will save his people from their sins.” Matthew 1:21
