THE BIG BANG THEORY, FACT PR FICTION? Or Who built my house!

One of my students told me the other day that she disagreed with my view and that she believed in the “big bang” theory. She was surprised when I said to her, ” Ask me about how I built my house?”

She said, “How did you build your house?”

I replied:

* First I bought a one acre lot.

*One day 5 trucks came and dumped a load of bricks mortar and concrete on the lot.

* Next day, 2 trucks came and off loaded all the roofing timbers and tiles.

* After that, another truck brought all the electrical wires and things and left them in a pile on the lot.

* Then a paint van came, and put 75 gallon size cans of paint on a corner of the lot.

* Next a plumber’s truck brought all the water pipes and left them in a pile.

* Finally I took 5 sticks of dynamite and put them under all this stuff and lit them.

There was a “BIG BANG ” and now I have a beautiful house. All the bricks, roofing tiles, timbers, plumbing and electrical wires and fittings are all in their right place, and the walls are all painted in a matching color.

My student said that it was impossible and that I was lying.

Yes, the “big bang” theory is impossible and just a big lie.

This equation:

“NOBODY + NOTHING = EVERYTHING” does not work!!!!!!!!!

WHAT’S THE ONE UNFORGIVABLE SIN?

Most people think they’re in the process of accumulating a record, and if the good outweighs the bad, then the Judge will make the ruling in his favor in the end. The truth is the judgment was passed when you arrived on the planet.

What caused this? “Because you have not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” You’re going to be sent to hell not for something you did but for what you didn’t do, and that’s believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.

So that makes that pretty important, critically important. Every sinner is already condemned. The only way that verdict can be reversed and the slate cleaned and the sinner forgiven is by believing in the unique Son of God, the only way. So it’s important to remember this:

*what damns people to hell in the end is not because of some divine decree made by God.

*What damns people to hell is not because of some deficient provision in the sacrifice of Christ.

*”What damns people to hell is because they sin, as they break God’s Law, and because they do not believe in Jesus Christ.” That’s the issue.

So when you talk to people, I think it’s sometimes okay to say, “You know, you’re a lawbreaker, you’ve broken this law, broken that law, broken the Ten Commandments, fine. That’s all forgivable.”

Sooner or later in the conversation, and may I suggest sooner rather than later, you need to address people about what they think concerning Jesus Christ and cut to the chase and say,

“If you do not believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as Redeemer, and Savior, and Lord, you will die in your sins and go to hell. That is the one unforgivable sin.”

John 3:18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.

John 3:36 Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.

To sum up it is unequivocally clear that the one unforgivable sin is permanently rejecting Christ (John 3:18; 3:36). Thus, speaking against the Holy Spirit is equivalent to rejecting Christ with such finality that no future repentance is possible. ‘My spirit shall not always strive with man,’ God said long ago (Genesis 6:3).

SAINT PATRICK’S Day

As many of you are aware I am 100 percent Irish and was born in Belfast just two streets from the home of C. S. Lewis.

On this St. Patrick’s Day, 2018 the most loving thing I can ever do is echo the words of our beloved patron Saint, St. Patrick, and remind my Irish friends, that if you are not a believer in, and follower of the Lord Jesus, that you are a lost sinner on the road to hell.

Here is a transcript of my annual St. Patrick’s day message, as I call my fellow Irishmen & Irish women, to exercise repentant faith in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

I do realize that this gospel message may be offensive to some of you as I have already been informed and even rebuked by the merely religious folk. I realize some of you never hear the word “HELL” from the pulpit.

But it is a bible word, and as St Patrick says, some of you may be headed for damnation!

Should that be the case perhaps you too need to believe and exercise repentant faith, confess Jesus as Lord, (KURIOS,) and accept your new status as his slave, his (doulos!)

So, what am I supposed to believe to become a Christian! BELIEVE WHAT?

*Believe, Admit, and Agree you are a sinner.

*Believe, Admit, and agree you are alienated from God, and must truly repent and turn from your sin.

*Believe, Admit and Agree that you are “condemned already” and need a pardon.

*Believe, Admit and Agree that you need to repent (turn your back from sin) and produce fruits of obedience.

*Believe, Admit and Agree that Jesus took your punishment on the cross as your substitute, and is waiting to pardon you.

*Believe, Admit, and Agree that God’s justice was satisfied by the fact that God raised Jesus…from the dead. And when God raised Him from the dead He was saying, “I am satisfied.”

*Believe, Admit and Agree, that the evidence that you are truly a believer is that you produce “fruits of obedience.”

That’s what you BELIEVE! That’s the gospel. And when you believe that by faith, and REPENT, simply trusting God, He, in His mercy takes the righteousness of Jesus Christ and credits it to you because your sins were credited to Christ when He died on the cross.

In 2 Corinthians 5:21 we read

“GOD made JESUS who did not know sin to be sin for US, so that WE might become the righteousness of GOD in Him. “

In Acts 2:37-38, after hearing the gospel the people became aware of their guilt as sinners and said, “What shall we do?” And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

In Luke 18:14, the repentant sinner said, “God be merciful to me a sinner.”

So, if you cry out to God in faith trusting, God will hear you and your life will be transformed in a moment. If your faith is weak ask Him to help you to believe. If you need more information read the Gospel of John, and ask God to teach you the truth of Christ.

Dr. Brian Henry

Just an old sinner saved, rescued delivered and transformed by God’s amazing grace alone, not by works; by faith alone, not by rituals; in Christ alone, not in Mary!

You’ve never seen a hearse pulling a U-Haul

SO WHAT IS A MILLENNIAL SUPPOSED TO BELIEVE TO BECOME A CHRISTIAN?

The most loving thing I can ever do is tell you in 2018 is that if you are not a believer in, and follower of the Lord Jesus, that you are a lost sinner on the road to hell.

However, the good news is that Jesus died on the cross and paid for your sins, making it possible for you to be reconciled to God, and be assured of a home in heaven one day. I am calling on you to repent and believe!

So, what am I supposed to believe to become a Christian! BELIEVE WHAT?

*Believe,Admit, and Agree you are a sinner.

*Believe, Admit, and agree you are alienated from God, and must truly repent and turn from your sin.

DOES MARK ZUCKERBERG GO TO CHURCH?

Churches today are literally filled with people who are under the delusion that they have saving faith.

They are looking forward to heaven when the fact is there has never been a transformed life and therefore there’s never been a justifying change in their inner most being.

You can say you have faith but I can’t see that faith unless you show me that faith. And you can’t show me that faith unless you show it to me in a repentant transformed life.

It is not enough to say you have faith, that proves nothing. That’s merely an affirmation which may or may not be true.

Faith in a sense is like the wind, you can’t see it, you only see its effects. It’s like electricity, you can’t see it but you can feel and enjoy and appreciate its effects. It’s like radio waves, you can’t see them, they’re invisible but you can appreciate their effect.

Faith is not known to be real until it is evident in action, deeds, in doing. As in James 1 : 22 put it, or in works as we see in chapter 2.

Faith in James’ mind is a statement equal or a word equal to spiritual life. When he says “faith without works is dead,” what he really means to say, if we can clarify it that way, is spiritual life without works is dead.

There’s no real life there at all. Unless you are living a repentant transformed life, there is no way that your faith can be verified to anyone nor in fact to yourself.

HAVE YOU COME OUT OF THE CLOSET YET?

Have you come out of the closet yet??

When you think about somebody coming out of the closet, you might think of sodomites, homosexuals, and lesbians choosing to disclose their sinful sexual perversions.

But my question is directed to those closet christians, who choose to downplay or hide their christian faith and beliefs, in the hope of not offending, but rather pleasing people.

In 2 Corinthians: 9 Paul says, “We have as our ambition to be pleasing to Him.” For example, look at Paul’s life. He lived to please the Lord.

He was like a violinist who really didn’t care for the applause of the audience, but longed for the smile of the master who taught him how to play.

He was like an athlete who wasn’t really moved by the roar of the crowd, but by the commendation of the coach.

He was like a soldier who fought not for the thrill of victory, but the affirmation of his general who said, “Well done, soldier.”

The apostle Paul knew exactly who it was he had to please. In Galatians 1:10 he writes, “Am I striving to please men? If I were still striving or trying to please men I would not be a bond-servant of Christ, I can’t do both.” The focus is to please Him.

It’s like 2 Timothy 2:3-4 Paul says to Timothy, that being a christian is like a soldier. The soldier has to suffer hardship and the soldier has to disconnect himself from all the earthly entanglements, in order that he might please the one who chose him to be a soldier.

This is the basic principle of all Christian living, you do whatever you do to please the Lord. You present your body a living sacrifice, you come to a renewed mind because that is well-pleasing, Romans 12:2

In Ephesians 5: 8-10 “Walk as children of light, trying to learn what is pleasing to the Lord.” Try to learn what is pleasing to the Lord.

In the light of these scriptures, I would urge you if you are a “closet christian,” to stop pleasing people, and “COME OUT” and live a life pleasing to God.

Кто есть Брайан Генри. Мое свидетельство!

My testimony in Russian.

SCHOOL SHOOTINGS AND PRAYER!

It never ceases to amaze me that although GOD and PRAYER have been driven out of our public schools and from their athletic activities, yet once again we have all these secular TV announcers becoming instantly religious, and offering their prayers, whatever that means.

In the wake of another national tragedy here in the USA my condolences go to the wounded and bereaved, and I trust that the local churches in Parkland, Florida will step up to the plate, and minister to the victims of this tragedy.

The bottom line is that sooner or later we are all going to die, and we are not in control of when that will happen. The scriptures are very clear Hebrews 9:27

“And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment,”

While we still have time, holy God is calling all of us lost sinners to repent, and trust in the savior’s death on the cross. Jesus took our place and our judgment on the cross, so that we could be forgiven by God!

So, what am I supposed to believe to become a Christian! BELIEVE WHAT?

*Believe,Admit, and Agree you are a sinner.

*Believe, Admit, and agree you are alienated from God, and must truly repent and turn from your sin.

SAVED FROM WHAT?

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=AVzbh_dLq3s

Every day we face an opportunity and a responsibility to be ready to speak the gospel to the folks that are around us who don’t know the Lord Jesus Christ. We talk about being saved. What are we talking about? What is it we want people saved from?

That is the compelling question.

The answer to that question, as far as Scripture is concerned, is a simple answer. We want to see people saved from eternal punishment, punishment that never ends. Conscious existence, conscious life in a body resurrected and suited for everlasting punishment.

The Bible speaks of that as occurring in a place that we know as hell. In the Old Testament, the word Sheol makes reference to that in a general way.

In the New Testament, the word Hades is used sometimes with reference to that. But always the word hell coming from the Greek word Gehenna, speaks of what the book of Revelation calls, “this Lake of Fire” where people are punished and tormented forever.

I think we sort of comfortably distance ourselves from that reality. Certainly in general in the church it is looked over, passed by, ignored.

There are those who claim to be preachers who don’t ever talk about hell, wouldn’t talk about hell, avoid it at all costs, when the truth of the matter is, it ought to be the first thing that we talk about when we talk about the gospel. This is about salvation from hell.

According to the latest survey that I could find, seventy-five percent of people living in America believe in hell.

Of those 75 percent, four percent believe there is any chance that they will ever go there. So we’ve gotten our point across. There is a hell. But we haven’t gotten the point across that you’re headed there already.
